We’re supporting our Community to take the lead on new developments

Back in 2019-20 we worked with our community to develop a Masterplan for Claremont. We launched the plan at the start of the pandemic, but the world has changed a lot since then! (You can find the original plan here)

Blackpool Council have asked us to create a new People’s Plan, refining the plan you created 5 years ago, to ensure that the voice, knowledge and ambition of the Claremont community is at the forefront of any new developments in our area. This Plan will ensure we are ready for when funding becomes available for regeneration work.

Magic Club are supporting the development of this Plan but we need YOU to lead it!

If you are a Claremont resident and are passionate about making Claremont an even better place to live, then we would love to hear from you. We would like approximately 10-12 people in both our Young (aged 12-17) and Adult (aged 18+) Community Leader’s groups.

As a thank you for your time, involvement and ideas, £100 in high street vouchers will be available to everyone who is able to attend 80% or more of the workshops.

The workshops will start from February 2025. Unfortunately, our Adult Community Leader’s group meetings will take place during the day, which we know won’t be accessible for everyone. So please let us know if you would like to be kept up to date and you can feed in to the work via email.
